President Mahinda Rajapakse who was honoured with a special honorary degree from the Friendship University in Moscow, Russia for his enormous service for world peace by successfully eradicating terrorism in the motherland, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning.  It has also been reported that all religious leaders conducted religious observances to bless the President at the Katunayake  International Airport.  A large number of ministers and general public were also at the airport to welcome the President.
