Pakistan whitewashed the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Usman Khan picked up five wickets to rattle Sri Lanka in the fifth ODI in Sharjah as Pakistan completed a clean-sweep against Sri Lanka. With a target of 104, Pakistan openers Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman forged an 84-run opening wicket partnership to help Pakistan secure their second whitewash against Sri Lanka.

Since the running track that was laid in the 2012, became dilapidated within a short period of 3 years, the new track had to be laid. The Minister stated that the construction work has been awarded to an organization of international repute. It has been agreed to complete construction work within 3 months.

This is the 5th time that she renewed the record. Expressing her views to the SlBC she told that her aim is getting qualified Asian sport festival scheduled to be held next year. Her trainer Sinniah Subakaran said, that the Jaffna is conducive enough for sports training. The government’s support for sport training is commendable.
