South Africa overcame Sri Lanka by five wickets to win the first One Day International in Dambulla. Electing to bat first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 193 all out in 34.3 overs. Kusal Janith Perera was the top scorer, making 81 runs. Thisara Perera scored 49 runs. Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi captured four wickets each.

In reply, South Africa reached 196 for five in 31 overs. JP Duminy made an unbeaten 53 while Quinton De Kock and Faf Du Plessis made 47 runs each. In bowling, Akila Dhananjaya took three wickets for 50 runs

Andy Murray due to return to action at the Citi Open in Washington on 30th July

Andy Murray is now the British Men's Number 23, after he dropped to 839 in the world rankings, following his injury problems.
The former World Number One, fell 690 places in Monday's rankings, after he pulled out of Wimbledon.
He had hip surgery in January, after being out of action since last year's Wimbledon. He has only played three matches since then, winning one at Eastbourne last month.
Murray is due to return to action at the Citi Open, which starts in Washington on 30th July.

North and South Korea have agreed to form some combined teams at the Asian Games in Indonesia this August.
The two countries also agreed they would march together at the event, as a sign of unity.
The decisions were taken after talks between them at their shared border.

South Korea hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where their athletes entered under the same flag as their neighbours from North Korea, during the opening ceremony.

The stay order preventing the election of office bearers to Sri Lanka Cricket, removed

The stay order imposed by the Court of Appeals temporary suspending the Election of Office Bearers to Sri Lanka Cricket, has been removed. The Court had issued the order, upon taking up for examination, the petition filed by a former cricketer and Nishantha Ranathunge who is contesting for the presidency, seeking the prevention of the present President: Thilanga Sumathipala running for office. As the petitioner and respondent's party agreed to call for a new election, the court ordered the stay order to be removed. The Court of Appeals notified the Attorney General to present the agenda for a new election, when the petition is taken up for hearing on the fourth of next month.
