Parliamentarian Keheliya Rambukwella points out the UNP along with TNA is trying to introduce federal system in the country.

Chief government Whip Minsiter S.B.Dissanayake says, the government led by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse is continuing. There is no vacancy to appoint a Prime Minister. During a media briefing at the parliamentary complex yesterday, he said that, the Speaker should maintain the government appointed by the President in Parliament. People in the entire country are expecting, a general election.

The Maha Nayakas of the three sectors have also emphasized it. Minister Dissanayake pointed out that only, a minister with the cabinet approval can submit a financial Motion or an Act in Parliament.

Joining in the Media Briefing parliamentarian Keheliya Rambukwella said that, if there is a conflict between the legislature and the executive, it should be solved by the judiciary. He further said the UNP along with TNA is trying to introduce federal system in the country. The government is prepared to accept the decision of the judiciary.
