The UNP is ready to take part in the debate on bond commission report.

Deputy Minister Ajith P. Perera says the UNP is ready to face the parliament debate on the bond commission report as  it is not yet proved that any leader or a member of the party is involved in the bond scam so far.  The bond commission report has not directly accused the UNP leadership or any member in this connection.   At a press briefing held in Colombo today the deputy minister thanked the President for appointing a commission to investigate into the bond scam incident.  At the relevant parliament debate the people will be able to know the real situation of the bond issue.  The UNP extend its fullest support to take legal action against the relevant culprits for this matter and to recover the defrauded money.  A special court will also be set up in this connection.
