President Maithripala Sirisena says that the government is dedicated in its financial management for the transparency and purity when conducted its transactions. President made these observations when he declared open the inaugural session of the Asia Pacific regional group's 20th annual session on money laundering with the participation of 41 members countries and many international monitoring organizations on the subject. The meeting will last till 21st Friday. President further said that if all the countries need to win the challenges faced by them on money laundering their national and international engagements, agreements and charters should be implemented honestly. By preventing money laundering all the countries are able to strengthen their economies. It is extremely necessary to prevent money laundering in order to have a proper financial management. The government of Sri Lanka has established legal bodies within the country, with powerful constitutional and legal frameworks. President explained that they are functioning without any hesitation or hindrance.
