Australia points out that the report of the commission on lessons learnt and reconciliation is an invaluable tool to build a prosperous Sri Lanka.
Australian Member of Parliament Telmore Langviller says he sees the basic practical plan to create reconciliation in Sri Lanka in this report. Mr. Langviller also said that he will make a request from the Australian government to act in co-operation with the Sri Lankan Government. The Australian MP is presently engaged in a tour in Sri Lanka. He said that the road blocks he had witnessed in Colombo city during his previous visit several years ago, have now been completely eliminated, European tourists in large numbers have commenced visiting Sri Lanka. Peace and unity prevails throughout the country. Mr. Telmore Langviller also said that he has visited several areas including Jaffna as well. |
