Political analysts vehemently condemn the unjustified allegations of certain politicians who say that government ministers adopt different stands on the final report of LLRC. UPFA is a coalition of some 20 political groupings and each party has got the right to entertain own opinion according to its socio-political ideologies. But, the Leader Of The House, minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has clarified the government’s stand in parliament recently. This is the official stand of the government. Stand of the UPFA government was much emphasized in the house because it had been submitted as a unified stand of the ruling coalition and not as various opinions of the members of ruling coalition. According to the political analysts who expressed their views to national radio, the most important endeavor in this process is the active participation of Tamil side representatives. The political analysts also criticize the efforts to obtain undue political gains by using the Tangalle incident where a foreigner is murdered. The government has taken every step to ensure the safety of each and every tourist. A local politician who was allegedly connected to the incident have been produced before the law. If anyone found guilty, the government would not hesitate take action against such person without considering any political affiliation or any position such person holds. Looking at such incidents with political spectacles could not be an act of a politician or political party with moral responsibilities. |
