Grand finale of “Tharu Atharata Tharuwak” which was jointly organized by the City FM and the Commercial Service of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation was held at the Ananda Samarakoon Studio yesterday. 11 professionals who were successful in two rounds earlier had qualified for the final round held yesterday.

 Software Engineer Rangana Sathyajith Illeperuma won the first place of the competition. He received a cash prize worth 250 thousand rupees and an award. Attorney At Law Chandima Amaraweera was placed second while Dr. Rohan Perera won the third place. They also received cash prizes worth 150 thousand rupees and 100 thousand rupees respectively. Senior Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake, Ministers Keheliya Rambukwella, Dallas Alahapperuma, Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media W.B.Ganegala and a large number of prominent artistes were present at this occasion.
