The Palestinian government has condemned the UN actions against Sri Lanka. Issuing a statement the Palestinian government states that the UN was silent when thousands of children were killed in the Gaza Strip and it has no right to comment about Sri Lanka.
The statement has asked the UN not to disrupt the present peaceful environment in Sri Lanka. The statement further notes the certain groups who were engaged in arms, drugs and other rackets with the help of LTTE are engaged in attempts to destabilise the Sri Lankan government. |
