A business forum of Sri Lanka and Vietnam entrepreneurs is to take place today |

Visiting Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapakse and his entourage have arrived at Ho Chi Ming city last evening, which is the main commercial city of Vietnam.
The president and the delegation was welcomed by the head of the public council of the city as well as by the high ranking officials of the Vietnamese foreign ministry. Chairman of the public council Lee Hohang huwan said the President’s arrival has provided a new intrusion to Vietnam - Sri Lanka relations. Vietnamese officials have agreed to a Presidents proposal to set up a city in similar outlook to the Ho chi Ming city in Galle. A business forum with the participation of 35 prominent Sri Lankan entrepreneurs and 120 leading Vietnamese entrepreneurs will take place in Ho Chi Ming city today. |
