The original of the channel four fake video footage has just appeared on an internet portal The Asian Tribune website says the orders given in Tamil language to blind fold the victims, bring the other one and to take off shoes is being clearly heard. The website has reported the incident with visual and audio facilities to the international community.
The attorney general has arrived in Britain to take legal action against the channel four television . According to reports one party is providing reports to discredit the good name of Sri Lanka while another party says a problem has arisen regarding the security of Sri Lankan people after the war. This video footage punctures all claims to originality. It establishes that the footage has come from a video camera and not from a mobile phone camera, as it was initially presumed. The Asian Tribute further points out that all evidence makes clear that the fake and the original were an amateur job and not a professional enterprise. When the fake video with the sound in Sinhala is analyzed, there is no sense what is spoken and being done, as it does not correspond to the action on the video, making it a real amateurish piece of work. According to the website, the video was given channel four by a group named “journalists for democracy in Sri Lanka”, after the voices of persons in military uniform were changed from Tamil to Sinhala, to give the impression that the Sinhala soldiers were doing the shooting. |
